Wishing it was different.

I wish things were different. Sure, we all do! But it all just seems so..... endless!

Work is so bloody hard!

I want to work an 8 hour day.
I want to be home in time for dinner.
I want to lay down to sleep on the same day I woke up.
I want to fall asleep without the worry of work in my mind.
I want my weekends to myself so that I can do things other than work.

But what's the point?

There is nothing to do for the other 16 hours.
There is nothing at home to eat.
There is no one to share the bed with.
There is no way to sleep long without bad dreams waking me.
There is no one to do anything with anyway.

I feel such a fierce loyalty to my employer. But I just can't seem to make it any easier. It seems the harder I work, the harder it gets.

I wish I was not so lonely. :(

Lunar Eclipse on Tuesday

Coolness! There will be a total lunar eclipse on Tuesday night. It will happen not long after it rises, so you want to make sure you can see the eastern horizon. There will be a high pressure cell right over the east cost that night, so we should have clear sky's. :)

A total eclipse of the Moon takes place on the evening of Tuesday 28 August. The Moon starts moving into the Earth's shadow at 6:51pm Eastern Standard Time and is full immersed in the shadow at 7:52pm. Totality is over at 9:23pm and the eclipse ends at 10:24pm.

Pachelbel's Canon Rocks - Literally

Those of you who know me well have heard my "Don't drive angry!" song that I play in the car. It is a playing of Pachelbel's "Canon in D Major" by the London Baroque Orchestra. It is the BEST version of the song you will EVER hear.

But, coming a close second is a "rock" version of the song by a young South Korean boy that was posted on YouTube back in 2005, and has been viewed more than 26 million times!!!

One of the all-time top ten most watched videos on YouTube is guitar which has been viewed over 25 million times. Posted online in December 2005, it consists of a rock music version of Pachelbel's Canon performed on electric guitar by a young man wearing a baseball cap. Since the guitarist's face cannot be seen and he is named only as funtwo in the video, there was speculation about his identity during the first half of 2006. The guitarist has since been named as Jeong-Hyun Lim, a 23-year old from South Korea who had taught himself to play.

So, take 5 minutes out of your day, pop on some headphones, and crank up this YouTube video. You'll enjoy it, trust me. :)

Sleep Sleep Sleep

I am only sleeping two or three 90 minute cycles a night. :( I know I am suffering because of it, but I just can't go to sleep earlier. If I somehow manage to fall asleep earlier, I end up waking up in the middle of the night, and not getting back to sleep.

The nerve pain has moved to my left neck shoulder and upper arm. :(

I am thankful for the Internet and Pay TV. Without these things my lonely nights would be unbearable.

Will go to bed now and see if I can fall asleep. Fingers crossed.
