Little Sucker Moves

Am out at my sisters property today, and was hooning around the acreage on my nephews little 125cc motorbike. I am amazed at how much torque the little thing has. It gets up and moves, and wants to throw you off if you corner too hard.

My sisters boy had it slip out from under him not long after my sister took this pic of me riding it.

River Shrouded in Fog

Snapped this pic with my cellphone yesterday as my flight was descending into Sydney. It is very cool the way the rivers are hidden under fog. :)



Sitting at Sydney airport now waiting for my flight home. Battery is almost flat. I think will go torment my workmate for a while. :P

My Outback Trip

Back in the end of May I took a few weeks off work and went for a drive around the Australian outback with a friend.

I have been too lazy to blog any pics, but am getting more and more requests for them. So I have captioned a few and uploaded them to Picasa.

The Rule of Three

Most people who know me have already heard my "Rule of Three" theory. Just about everyone who has heard it signs off on it too. :)

For the rest of you, let me give it to you nice and quick. ;)

When considering a potential partner, you can generalise everything down to three basic attributes.

1: Looks - How physically attractive you find them.
2: Availability - Are they committed to someone already?
3: Mental Stability - How many "problems" they have. :P

Now here is the catch. You can only ever have two of those three at a time. That is, if you find someone who is attractive and available, they are going to be a nut job. If you find someone who is available and appears mentally normal, there is a very good chance they are not all that attractive. And if you find someone who is attractive and normal, they are inevitably already spoken for.

If you are unfortunate enough to have a decent number of past partners and relationships to reference against, go ahead and apply the rule of three. You'll see how valid it is! Apply it to relationships and partners of friends and family. It works!

Now there is always an exception to the rule. There are those people out there who manage to snap up one of those attractive normal partners the instant they become available. Or there are those who are unlucky enough to only have one (or even none) of the attributes. But as far as a generalisation goes, you'll find the rule of three to be pretty much spot on every time.

Same stuff different week.

Yet another week over. Busy week ahead of me. What's new!

Spent the weekend working and sleeping. I think I even worked when I was sleeping. :P

Life is dominated by work and hunger. The doctors better have been right about this weight thing. If I get down to and stay at my ideal weight and still die at 63, I'm going to be seriously pissed. Well, I'll be dead... But I'll die angry!!!

I need to find something to make what little spare time I have more meaningful. Maybe I need to annoy my friends and family more. That is always entertaining. :)

Anyhow, heaps of work to do. So I best get to it. :)

Hungry!

So bloody tired of being hungry all the time. Sure it's working, I'm down to 82kgs. But when will my stupid body give up on making me feel so hungry all the time.

Wow, ages without blogging, and no good excuse. Well, not one that I care to share with y'all anyway. :P

Sick today. :( Woke up this morning with a nasty head cold. Sore throat, sinus headache, blocked nose, mucus... The full package. :\

On client site doing consulting work. I am never going to get out of this place. :(

I will begin regular updates again. Nothing much has happened till now, other than work and more work. A brief holiday at the end of May, but I could not be stuffed blogging about that.
