Big weekend.

Went fishing with the boys Friday night up in the state forest. Fished all night and caught bloody nothing. A few of the boys caught some eels, but obviously they were thrown back. Oh well, was entertaining none the less.

Amongst other things, my dad helped me move a study desk to my new apartment on Saturday. Junior came along too for a ride. :)


The air conditioning in the car dries his nose out. :P

Well, after we had carried up all the parts of the desk, we had to wait around for the RACQ road side assistance guy to show up and break into my car for me. I locked the bloody keys in there. AGAIN!!! I am such a spaz. :(


Took him less than 10 seconds to get it open. Scary! :o

Anyhow, today I went for a drive up to Cunningham's Gap with some friends and their kids. We went for a 3 hour long bush walk from the top of the mountain down to Gap Creek Falls at the bottom. About a 4.5km hike each way with about a 500m drop. It was a bastard of a walk, and I struggled to make it back up the mountain. And to add salt to the wound, their kids (4 and 7 years) practically ran all the way back up the mountain yelling and screaming and having fun. God I am getting old. :(

All in all, a busy weekend. Got none of the stuff done around home that I needed to get done. But hey, there is a whole week to do that. :P

I miss a loved one. :(
