Stupid Widget

Just realised the stupid Mac widget I was using to post blogger entries was mussing up all of the code and putting tags in the cleartext.

Lame.

Now I have to stop being so lazy and post properly via the website. :P

What happened to the weekend?

Wow, that weekend went by pretty quick.  :|

Girlie was sick with the flu.  Somehow I have managed to escape it.  Stayed in most of the weekend.  Went to her mom's place for dinner Saturday night though.  Her mom is a fantastic cook.  :)

Damn it is hot over here.  Hot and humid.  I suspect now that it is possible for a person to actually drown in a pool of their own sweat.  :(

Back at work.  Not sure where this week will bring me.  Wish the Australian's would hurry up and lock down some dates so I can know when I am traveling there.  I suspect it will not be this week though.  That is sure to mean India for me.  :(

Must run.  Plenty of work to do, and not enough time to do it.

Facebook makes me lazy!

Yeah yeah, I know I have not posted in ages.  But it's Facebook's fault.  It makes me VERY lazy.  But I really should not use it, because many people want to see what I am up to (I know, hard to believe!), and not everyone is on my Facebook account.

So, I will endevour to make regular posts.  I have popped a widget on my desktop so that it is very easy for me to do it.  No spell checking though, so tough luck if you have a problem with my bad spelling.  :)

I miss you all.  Well.... not all.  But most of you... Ok, some of you.  :)

OCBC Website Gone?

I know they have been in trouble recently for their investment dealings with their customers, but this is just silly. One of the biggest banks here in Singapore, OCBC, has disappeared from the interweb!  (gasp)

For those of you smart enough to understand, whois queries show that ocbc.com and ocbc.com.sg are both using the singnet nameservers to host their records.

If you query those nameservers for the records (dnssec1.singnet.com.sg and 2 and 3), they reply saying they do not hold authoritive records for those domains. Um mar!!!

Bad bad bad!!!  Wonder how long it has been that way. I hope it is just broken.  I hope they are not gone.  :|

Singapore

Righto. As usual, I have neglected my blog. I'll dispense with the usual promise of blogging more regularly. I'd like to, but I just can't seem to find the time or motivation to do it that much.

For those who don't keep in touch or are not on my Facebook, I have moved to Singapore. Yeah, I know. Big change! But hey, could be worse. I could have moved to Alice like I was always threatening. May still yet. ;)

Anyhow, will try to keep updated. If you are a friend and want to get more regular updates than I am putting here, then add me on Facebook. Otherwise, hang in there. :)

8 More Sleeps

Only 8 more sleeps till I leave! :) Over to Singapore, then to Phuket for a week, then back to Singapore, then over to Bangkok for a few days, then back to Singapore again, then home.
